Zumba Dance
I’d be surprised if you didn’t know about this dance...Zumba is a clever blend of music, movement, bodily expression, intense physical exercise and rhythm, which all together create something beautiful.
Have a look on the internet and find a piece of this music to dance to and enjoy the rhythm as it reaches your ears then enters your brain and permeates your whole body. Work at it intensely for 3 minutes, this isn’t enough to tire you out or make you sweat but it will make you feel good. And if you like it then you can keep on doing it as often as you like. Once you tire of one piece of music, find another to dance to.
A secret within the secret: regular, daily exercise makes your brain secrete serotonin, whose job is to give you a taste for experiencing pleasure and achievement. Do you know what happens to the serotonin in your brain? It returns to the cortex laden with secretions of dopamine. Take a careful note of that word – dopamine is the transmitter substance that gives you….. your thirst and motivation for life!
